mattreviewsmovies: Into the Wild (2007) Directed by Sean Penn REVIEW Deep and thought provoking with such a powerful message. Natural beauty seen through the eyes of a vagabond transferred to film by the artistry of Sean Penn. The portrayal by Emile Hirsch along with the story telling skills of Sean Penn brings viewers on a journey of self discovery, allowing us to reflect on certain aspects of the world we live in otherwise untouched on a normal basis. Such an amazing, beautiful story. Inspiring and almost dream-like, watching this was almost like an epiphany of true calling, of true identity. This presented a view on life so simplistic and natural, yet so fulfilling and truthful.  This is almost life changing. Rating: 5/5
